Everything could happen in Pasvalys at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked Nevezis and 10th ranked P.Zvaigzdes had identical 3-6 record. But P.Zvaigzdes was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Kedainiai 93-84 on Saturday night. Nevezis made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. Guard Marius Valinskas (187-1999) notched 29 points and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws) to lead the effort and power forward Paulius Petrilevicius (204-1991) supported him with 19 points. P.Zvaigzdes lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with seven games lost. Nevezis will meet at home bottom-ranked Prienai (#12) in the next round where they are favorite. P.Zvaigzdes will play against Rytas in Vilnius and hope to secure a win.
