No shocking result in a game in Iserlohn where ninth ranked Eagles (4-4) defeated 11th ranked Kangaroos (2-6) 76-72 on Saturday. Dutch center Shaquille Rombley (203-1996, college: LMU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners and Emil Marshall (198-2000) chipped in 24 points. Four Eagles players scored in double figures. Eagles' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American guard Michael Cubbage (193, college: SFC) with 25 points and 7 rebounds and Samuel Mpacko (187-1998) scored 16 points. Eagles moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Schwelm and Frankfurt Jrs. Kangaroos lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with six games lost. Eagles will meet at home league's second-placed Sixers in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
