Not a big story in a game when 6th ranked SG Braunschweig (6-4) lost on the road to top-ranked Neustadt TSV (11-0) 85-69 on Saturday. Neustadt TSV dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to SG Braunschweig's 30. The winners were led by Croatian Matej Jelovcic (185-1998) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and Jannik Lodders (198-1992) supported him with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Four Neustadt TSV players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 18 points and 16 rebounds by Sananda Fru (205-2003) did not help to save the game for SG Braunschweig. Point guard Gian Aydinoglu (189-2003) added 20 points. SG Braunschweig's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Neustadt TSV have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 11-0 record. SG Braunschweig at the other side keeps the sixth place with four games lost.
