Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Licher Basket (5-7) lost on the road to first ranked Saarlouis (11-2) 90-78 on Saturday. The winners were led by American guard Ricky Easterling (189-1983, college: Bridgewater) who scored that evening 31 points and 6 rebounds and Matthias Meier (195-1997) supported him with 8 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Saarlouis' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 23 points by the former international Johannes Lischka (203-1987, agency: LUMANI 10.7) did not help to save the game for Licher Basket. Felix-Frederik Schweizer added 19 points and 5 rebounds.
