Regular Season Round 10: Paderborn - Dresden 63-68

Another exciting game was played in Paderborn between seventh ranked Titans and 6th ranked Uni Baskets where Titans (6-4) beat Uni Baskets (5-5) on the road 68-63. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Uni Baskets. Strangely Uni Baskets outrebounded Titans 41-24 including a 19-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Sebastian Heck (201-1995) who helped to win the game recording 11 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Canadian Tanner Graham (200-1996, college: Queen's) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Forward Marten Linssen (203-1998, college: St.Louis) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 19 rebounds and Canadian guard Marcus Anderson (191-1997, college: Carleton) added 11 points and 7 assists in the effort for Uni Baskets. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Uni Baskets' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Titans moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Jena and Karlsruhe PS. Uni Baskets at the other side dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Titans will play against Leverkusen (#17) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Uni Baskets will play against Falcons (#9) in Nuernberg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
