Very expected game when 7th ranked Rakovski (1-8) was defeated at home by third ranked Vihar Aytos (6-3) 72-65 on Sunday. Vihar Aytos forced 19 Rakovski turnovers and outrebounded them 52-35 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Konstantin Koev (196-1991) who scored 20 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Stoyan Petkov (198-1985) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Kristiyan Rusinov (182-2004) produced 15 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Milen Ivanchev (190-1996) added 9 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Rakovski's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Vihar Aytos.
