Regular Season Round 9: Final Spor - Mamak 85-77

There was no surprise in Bursa where 11th ranked Mamak (3-6) was defeated by fifth ranked Final Spor (6-3) 85-77 on Monday. Strangely Mamak outrebounded Final Spor 41-25 including 29 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was American LaceDarius Dunn (193-1987, college: Baylor) who scored 23 points. Jamaican power forward Clint Robinson (203-1994, college: UIC) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Myles Mack (178-1993, college: Rutgers) who recorded 27 points and 8 assists and the other American import Carlton Bragg Jr (208-1995, college: N.Mexico) added 17 points and 16 rebounds respectively. Mamak's coach Murat Dikmen let to play twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Final Spor moved-up to fourth place, which they share with TED Ankara. Loser Mamak keeps the eleventh position with six games lost. They share it with Kocaeli and Haremspor. Final Spor will meet higher ranked Samsunspor (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Mamak will play against Kocaeli (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
