Regular Season Round 12: Herlev - BAC 84-72

There was no surprise when 6th ranked BAC (5-6) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Herlev (8-3) 84-72. They made 22-of-28 charity shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Herlev players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. It was a good game for forward Marqus Marion (204-2004) who led his team to a victory with 27 points and 7 rebounds. The former international point guard August Haas (187-1997, college: St.Edward's) contributed with 9 points, 6 rebounds and 14 assists for the winners. Guard Marius Kirkholt (193-1997) replied with a triple-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists and forward Marcus Vinther (195-2002) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for BAC. BAC's coach Thomas Hemmingsen rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Herlev have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 8-3 record. BAC at the other side keeps the sixth place with six games lost. They share the position with Svendborg. Herlev will play against league's leader Naestved at home in the next round and it may be the game of the week. BAC will play against Holbaek (#11) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
