Regular Season Round 19: Delikatesas - Rytas 2 88-81

Rather expected game in Joniskis where 13th ranked Rytas 2 (5-13) was defeated by eleventh ranked Delikatesas (7-11) 88-81 on Thursday. Center Povilas Gaidys (206-1991, college: Southeastern) fired 17 points and 4 assists for the winners. Sarunas Kulevicius (193-1989) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists. Modestas Babraitis (193-2004) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds and guard Arnas Adomavicius (191-2000, college: UNCG) added 19 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Rytas 2 players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Delikatesas moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Kretinga and Vilkaviskis. Loser Rytas 2 keeps the thirteenth position with 13 games lost. Delikatesas will meet Kretinga (#8) on the road in the next round. Rytas 2 will play against Silute (#7) and hope to secure a win.
