Very expected game when 15th ranked Urla (3-10) was smashed by second ranked Fenerbahce G. (11-2) in Izmir 64-42 on Friday. Fenerbahce G. dominated down low during the game scoring 38 of its points in the paint compared to Urla's 18. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Serbian Mina Djordjevic (188-1999) nailed a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and Idil Sacalir (178-2002) accounted for 16 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Fenerbahce G.'s coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Revaziye Donmez (-1988) came up with 7 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and Tuba Kaya (-1991) added 9 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Urla in the defeat. Fenerbahce G. have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They used an opportunity after Tarsus lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position.
