ProB top team - White Wings (9-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they beat eleventh ranked Ludwigsburg (2-8) in Hanau 78-61. White Wings dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Ludwigsburg's 26. White Wings forced 28 Ludwigsburg turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American center Bubba Furlong (206-1999, college: NWOSU) notched a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and point guard Sebastian Brach (190-2002) supported him with 15 points and 5 assists. Even 30 points and 6 rebounds by Nico Santana Mojica (196-2002) did not help to save the game for Ludwigsburg. Dutch Emmanuel Ugbo (201-2003) added 14 points and 14 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. White Wings have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-0 record. Newly promoted Ludwigsburg dropped to the thirteenth place with eight games lost. White Wings will meet Deisenhofen (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Ludwigsburg will play against Loewen (#8) and hope to secure a win.
