It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Stekas. Vytis players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Guard Ernestas Jonkus (187-1999) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Augustinas Mikstas (203-2001) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Vytis' coach Erikas Kuciauskas allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Point guard Paulius Semaska (184-1993) replied with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and Mantas Serksnas (200-1996) added 25 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Stekas. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Vytis have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 12-5 record. Newly promoted Stekas dropped to the seventh place with ten games lost. Vytis will play against Silute (#5) on the road in the next round.
