Regular Season Round 12: Sezana - Postojna 66-56

There was no surprise when 11th ranked Postojna (2-9) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Sezana (6-5) 66-56 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Sezana. Postojna managed to win third quarter 21-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Sezana won last quarter 17-9. They dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Postojna's 22. They outrebounded Postojna 46-34 including 31 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Jost Flerin (195-2003) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and center Matija Radanovic (203-1995) who added 11 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Tim Lotric (189-2000) with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Miha Kodric (196-1997) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Postojna's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Sezana moved-up to sixth place. Loser Postojna keeps the eleventh position with nine games lost. Sezana will meet at home bottom-ranked Celje (#12) in the next round where they are favorite. Postojna will play against Troti and hope to secure a win.
