Regular Season Round 10: Galati - Dinamo B. 78-82

The most interesting game of round 10 in the Liga Nationala was a home defeat of 3rd ranked Galati (5-4) to second ranked Dinamo B. (6-3) 82-78 in the game for the second place. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 18-15. But Galati won second period 22-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Dinamo B. dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Galati's 28. The former international forward Vlad Moldoveanu (206-1988, college: American) scored 22 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Donte Ingram (199-1996, college: Loyola, IL) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Dinamo B. players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Andrei Calenic (209) responded with 14 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian guard Luka Mitrovic (191-1996) scored 18 points. Dinamo B. have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 6-3 record behind leader Cluj Napoca, which they share with Ploiesti CSM. Galati at the other side keeps the third place with four games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. Dinamo B. is looking forward to face Focsani (#7) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Galati will play against Steaua B. (#6) in Bucuresti and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
