Very important is a road loss of second ranked Jonava (8-4) against sixth ranked Juventus (8-4) on Sunday night. Visiting Jonava was defeated by Juventus in Utena 88-78. Juventus players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was a good game for American forward Justin Alston (203-1994, college: Boston U.) who led his team to a victory with 28 points and 8 rebounds. The other American import point guard Jawun Evans (185-1996, college: OK State) contributed with 15 points and 8 assists for the winners.
