Very expected game when 9th ranked Bayern (3-6) lost to fourth ranked Coburg (6-3) in Munich 66-71 on Sunday. Coburg made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Bayern turnovers. Spanish point guard Jose Carrasco (185-1994) notched a double-double by scoring 18 points, 7 rebounds, 12 assists and 5 steals to lead the effort and Serbian forward Milan Suput (197-2004) supported him with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Four Coburg players scored in double figures. Even 21 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) by Lenny Anigbata (196-2004) did not help to save the game for Bayern. Christian Skladanowski (201-2004) added 10 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Coburg have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Rhoendorf. Loser Bayern keeps the ninth position with six games lost.
