Regular Season Round 11: Triglav - Jezica 87-55

The game between third ranked Jezica (7-4) and fourth ranked Triglav (7-4) was the most important one in the last round on Friday night. Jezica was crushed by Triglav in Kranj 87-55. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Jezica. The game was mostly controlled by Triglav. Jezica managed to win fourth quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Jezica 38-27 including 24 on the defensive glass. Triglav looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a great evening for forward Manca Vrecer (178-2002) who led her team to a victory scoring 13 points and 7 assists. The former international point guard Rebeka Abramovic (172-1993) helped adding 8 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Triglav players scored in double figures. Maja Jakobcic (184-1997) responded with 19 points and 9 rebounds and forward Hana Ivanusa (181-2004) scored 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Jezica's coach Predrag Milovic gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Triglav moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Jezica. Triglav is looking forward to face Ledita D. (#5) in Domzale in the next round. Jezica will play at home against Konjice and is hoping to win this game.
