The game in Alexandria supposed to be also worth to mention about. Top-ranked Arad (8-0) played at the court of 8th ranked Alexandria (2-6). Arad smashed Alexandria 88-61. The game without a history. Arad led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Alexandria's 30. They outrebounded Alexandria 54-19 including a 20-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Arad players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Trinity Baptiste (183-1998, college: Arizona) who helped to win the game recording 38 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds. Serbian guard Brankica Hadzovic (175-1981) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners. Arad's coach Bogdan Bulj felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kizzah Maltezo replied with 23 points, 5 assists and 5 steals and Bulgarian center Aleksandra Petrova (187-1997, agency: BIG) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Alexandria. Arad have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 8-0 record behind leader Sf.Gheorghe. Alexandria lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with six games lost. Arad will play against Targu Mures (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Alexandria will play against Agronomia in Bucurest and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
