Regular Season Round 13: Troti - Postojna 81-71

Very expected game when 11th ranked Postojna (2-10) lost on the road to fifth ranked Troti (8-4) 81-71. It looked good early as Postojna took a 3-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Troti had a 23-19 second period charge getting the lead and Postojna was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 71-81. Troti made 17-of-18 charity shots (94.4 percent) during the game. Center Blaz Janezic (202-2000) stepped up and scored 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and guard Jure Prus (184-1996, college: Northwood) chipped in 14 points. At the losing side forward Miha Kodric (196-1997) responded with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Milan Petrovic (-2004) scored 20 points. Four Postojna players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Troti moved-up to third place, which they share with Jezica. Postojna at the other side keeps the eleventh position with ten games lost. Troti will play against league's second-placed Jance in Ljubljana in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Postojna will play on the road against Celje (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
