Regular Season Round 10: Bursaspor - Aliaga Petkim 70-69

The most exciting game of round 10 in the U19 League took place in Bursa. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 7th ranked Petkim Spor (4-6) to second ranked Bursaspor (7-3) 70-69 on Sunday evening. Host team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Bursaspor looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Forward Mehmet Atalan (198-2003) had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Hasan Kaplan (-2004) chipped in 5 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. Bursaspor's coach used entire bench in such tough game. At the losing side Murat Tor (-2003) responded with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Alp Sarikaya (-2005) scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Bursaspor maintains second position with 7-3 record having just three points less than leader Gaziantep, which they share with 3 other teams. Petkim Spor at the other side dropped to the sixth place with six games lost. They share the position with Tesvikiye and Antalya. Bursaspor is looking forward to face Selcuklu (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
