Regular Season Round 15: Botas GA - Tarsus 56-58

The most exciting game of round 15 in the TKBL took place in Ankara. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 3rd placed Botas GA (11-4) to first ranked Tarsus (13-2) 58-56 on Saturday evening. The best player for the winners was American center Sasha Goodlett (195-1990, college: Georgia Tech) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points, 18 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Nihal Yildirim (-1990) chipped in 14 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Rana Ucar (172-2002) who recorded 22 points and point guard Isik Guven (173-2005) added 14 points and 5 assists respectively. Botas GA's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Tarsus maintains first place with 13-2 record. Botas GA at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. Tarsus are looking forward to face Elazig Karabulut (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Botas GA will play against Manisa (#12) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
