Top ranked Turk Telekom (10-2) recorded its second loss in Istanbul on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by seventh ranked Galatasaray (7-5) 106-100. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Turk Telekom. Galatasaray made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The best player for the winners was Canadian-Jamaican guard Dylan Ennis (188-1991, college: Oregon, agency: BeoBasket) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Italian-American forward Angelo Caloiaro (203-1989, college: USF, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Jerian Grant (196-1992, college: Notre Dame) who recorded 23 points and 8 assists and his fellow American import power forward Tyrique Jones (206-1997, college: Xavier, agency: Pensack Sports) added 14 points and 12 rebounds respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Galatasaray have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place. Turk Telekom at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. They share it with Fenerbahce. Galatasaray are looking forward to face Konyaspor (#14) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Turk Telekom will play against Merkezefendi (#11) in Denizl and is hoping to win this game.
