There was an upset in Acibadem where 4th placed TED Ankara (7-4) was defeated by eighth ranked Bahcesehir (4-8) 99-84 on Sunday. Bahcesehir forced 19 TED Ankara turnovers. It was a great evening for Halim Altin (-2004) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Arda Gorucu (-2006) helped adding 23 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Ahmet Gunes (-2004) responded with a triple-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists and Sefa Karadol (-2003) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. Five Bahcesehir and four TED Ankara players scored in double figures. TED Ankara's coach let to play ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bahcesehir have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain eighth place with 4-8 record. Loser TED Ankara dropped to the third position with four games lost. They share it with Gelisim Koleji and Pinar Karsiyaka. Bahcesehir will meet higher ranked Galatasaray (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. TED Ankara will play against Antalya Gelism and hope to secure a win.
