Regular Season Round 13: Timberwolves - Klosterneuburg 51-70

No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Dukes (7-6) crushed 9th ranked Timberwolves (3-9) in Vienna 70-51 on Monday. The game was mostly controlled by Dukes. Timberwolves managed to win third quarter 18-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Dukes dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Timberwolves' 20. American Kevin Bracy-Davis (202-1995, college: Davis & Elkins) nailed 25 points for the winning side and Serbian guard Predrag Miletic (193-1984) accounted for 14 points and 5 rebounds. The former international forward Jakob Lohr (195-2002) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and American center Chris Vogt (213-1999, college: Wisconsin) added 8 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Timberwolves in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dukes moved-up to fifth place, which they share with UBSC Graz. Loser Timberwolves dropped to the tenth position with nine games lost. They share it with Eisenstadt. Dukes will meet at home Nord Dragonz (#10) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Timberwolves will play against the league's second-placed Gmunden Swans and hope to secure a win.
