Important game to mention about took place in Graz. Eighth ranked Kapfenberg Bulls (5-9) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 6th ranked UBSC Graz (7-7) 66-63 on Thursday evening. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. American center Brad Greene (210-1998, college: UC Irvine) notched a double-double by scoring 20 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks to lead the effort and Montenegrin Milos Latkovic (196-1993) supported him with 11 points and 7 assists. Four Kapfenberg Bulls players scored in double figures. Even 25 points and 4 assists by American point guard Zach Cooks (175, college: Hofstra) did not help to save the game for UBSC Graz. His fellow American import forward Issac Vann (198-1995, college: VCU) added 20 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Kapfenberg Bulls maintains eighth position with 5-9 record, which they share with Arkadia. UBSC Graz at the other side dropped to the seventh place with seven games lost. Kapfenberg Bulls will play against league's second-placed Gmunden Swans on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. UBSC Graz will play against Furstenfeld Panthers (#12) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
