Very important is a road loss of second ranked Randers (11-3) against fourth ranked Bakken (10-3) on Thursday night. Visiting Randers were defeated by Bakken in Aarhus 96-85. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Randers. Bakken players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Ryan Evans (202-1990, college: Wisconsin) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists and the other American import forward Elijah Childs (202-1999, college: Bradley) who added 16 points and 15 rebounds during the contest. Bakken's coach Anders Sommer allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side the former international guard Jonathan Klussmann (190-2002) responded with 19 points and 4 assists and American guard Josh Fortune (196-1994, college: Colorado) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Bakken have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains fourth position with 10-3 record. Randers at the other side keep the second place with three games lost. They share the position with Horsens IC. Bakken will play against Herlev (#5) on the road in the next round. Randers will play against BAC in Aarhus and hope to get back on the winning track.
