Third defeat of league's leader Turk Telekom (10-3) against eleventh ranked Merkezefendi (6-7) 78-68 was the most important game of the last round. Merkezefendi made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Israeli-American guard Max Heidegger (191-1997, college: UCSB) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 5 rebounds. Czech Martin Peterka (205-1995) contributed with 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American guard Jerian Grant (196-1992, college: Notre Dame) answered with 13 points and 6 assists and international Erkan Yilmaz (192-1997) added 6 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists in the effort for Turk Telekom. Four Turk Telekom players scored in double figures. Turk Telekom's coach Erdem Can rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Merkezefendi moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Tofas and Bahcesehir. Turk Telekom at the other side dropped to the second position with three games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Fenerbahce. Turk Telekom will play next round against Efes trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Merkezefendi will try to continue on its current victory against seventh ranked Galatasaray in Istanbul.
