Regular Season Round 17: Bakken - BAC 92-78

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Aarhus: Bakken (#3) and BAC (#7). Bakken (12-3) won against visiting BAC (6-10) 92-78. Bakken forced 20 BAC turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. American forward Ryan Evans (202-1990, college: Wisconsin) stepped up and scored 26 points and 5 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winners and Senegalese center Michel Diouf (208-1989) chipped in 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Tobias Hemmersam (194-2003) responded with 15 points and 5 rebounds and Magnus Madsen (200-2003) scored 11 points. Five Bakken and four BAC players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bakken have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Randers. BAC lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with ten games lost. Bakken will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. BAC will play on the road against Svendborg (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
