Very predictable result when first ranked Cluj Napoca (11-1) smashed on the road 6th ranked Sibiu (6-6) 88-67 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Cluj Napoca. Sibiu managed to win second period 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Cluj Napoca looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Sibiu's players. American guard Kasey Shepherd (189-1994, college: Louisiana) fired 22 points and 5 assists for the winners.
