There was no surprise when 15th ranked Duesseldorf (4-11) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Uni Baskets (9-6) 83-75 on Wednesday. The best player for the winners was American point guard Buzz Anthony (180-1998, college: RMC) who scored 20 points and 5 assists. Canadian guard Marcus Anderson (191-1997, college: Carleton) chipped in 10 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Uni Baskets' coach Steven Esterkamp used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Tray Hollowell (190-1998, college: Morehead St., agency: Players Group) who recorded 21 points and the other American import guard Booker Coplin (191-1997, college: Augsburg) added 14 points and 6 assists respectively.
