Bottom-ranked Furstenfeld Panthers managed to get a fourth victory, breaking the series of five consecutive losses. This time newly promoted Furstenfeld Panthers won against sixth-ranked UBSC Graz 92-83. UBSC Graz was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 54-43 second half run of Furstenfeld Panthers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a good game for American guard Steve Jr Robinson (165-1996, college: Mt.St.Mary's) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 12 assists. Norwegian power forward Andrija Blatancic (201-1995, college: St.Cloud St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Zach Cooks (175, college: Hofstra) answered with 26 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and the other American import forward Issac Vann (198-1995, college: VCU) added 28 points in the effort for UBSC Graz. Four UBSC Graz players scored in double figures. Furstenfeld Panthers (4-11) moved-up to tenth place. UBSC Graz lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost. Furstenfeld Panthers will play against higher ranked Kapfenberg Bulls (#9) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. UBSC Graz will play against the league's leader BC Vienna where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
