Regular Season Round 24: Neptunas-Akv. - Vytis 76-63

Bottom-ranked Neptunas-Akv. managed to get a fourth victory, breaking the two-game losing streak. This time they won against fourth-ranked Vytis in Klaipeda 76-63. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Vytis. Neptunas-Akv. had a 33-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Matas Repsys (205-2002) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 7 rebounds and Kristupas Keinys (202-2004) who added 11 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Neptunas-Akv.'s coach Alfredas Kaniava allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was Rokas Maciulis (194-2000) with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Ernestas Jonkus (187-1999) scored 6 points and 10 assists. Neptunas-Akv. maintains fourteenth position with 4-18 record. Vytis at the other side keeps the fourth place with eight games lost. Neptunas-Akv. will play against league's second-placed Suduva-Mantinga in Marijampole in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Vytis will play at home against Rytas 2 and hopes to get back on the winning track.
