TKBL top team - Tarsus (15-2) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat fourteenth ranked Urla (5-12) in Mersin 70-65. Nihal Yildirim (-1990) stepped up and scored 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and forward Ebru Torun (175-1987) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. American center Sharon Houston (191-1988, college: IU Northwest) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 14 rebounds and Fatma Bayram (-1998) scored 15 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Tarsus have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 15-2 record. Urla at the other side dropped to the thirteenth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Yalova Vip. Tarsus are looking forward to face Antalya (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
