Regular Season Round 16: Vienna - UBSC Graz 108-76

BSL top team - BC Vienna (14-2) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed seventh ranked UBSC Graz (7-9) 108-76. The game without a history. BC Vienna led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. The winners were led by the former international swingman Carlos Mateo (198-1992) who scored that evening 27 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and the former international center Jozo Rados (206-1993) supported him with 15 points and 9 rebounds. BC Vienna's coach Aramis Naglic felt very confident that he used 11 players saving starting five for next games. Even 17 points and 5 rebounds by American point guard Zach Cooks (175, college: Hofstra) did not help to save the game for UBSC Graz. His fellow American import forward Issac Vann (198-1995, college: VCU) added 15 points for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains first position with 14-2 record. UBSC Graz lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with nine games lost. They share the position with Arkadia. BC Vienna will meet league's second-placed Gmunden Swans on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. UBSC Graz will play against Dukes (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
