Everything went according to plan when second ranked Haskovo (10-2) outscored on the road 7th ranked Lokomotiv Pl. (2-10) 113-66 on Sunday. Haskovo dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Lokomotiv Pl.'s 30. Haskovo forced 23 Lokomotiv Pl. turnovers and outrebounded them 52-35 including 18 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 39 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Lokomotiv Pl.'s players. The best player for the winners was point guard Kristiyan Zhelev (180-2006) who scored 28 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international Tihomir Zhelev (193-1990) chipped in 14 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Haskovo players scored in double figures. Haskovo's coach Yanko Zhelev felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Nikolay Petkov (191-2001) who recorded 13 points and 9 rebounds and Ivaylo Stoyanov (189-1999) added 20 points respectively. Newly promoted Haskovo maintains second place with 10-2 record having just eleven point less than leader Minyor 2015. Lokomotiv Pl. lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the seventh position with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
