Very expected game when 13th ranked Rytas 2 (8-17) lost to fourth ranked Vytis (15-9) in Sakiai 77-88 on Tuesday. Vytis looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Rytas 2's players. Augustinas Mikstas (203-2001) nailed a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Titas Janusevicius (188-2001) accounted for 25 points and 5 assists. Guard Arnas Adomavicius (191-2000, college: UNCG) came up with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and Greek Andreas Kalogiros (198-2002) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Rytas 2 in the defeat. Four Rytas 2 players scored in double figures. Rytas 2's coach Andrius Slezas tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Vytis maintains fourth place with 15-9 record. Loser Rytas 2 keeps the thirteenth position with 17 games lost. Vytis will meet Kretinga (#8) on the road in the next round.
