Regular Season Round 11: Herlev - SISU 72-73

The most exciting game of round 11 in the Dameligaen took place in Herlev. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of second-ranked Herlev (6-4) to fifth ranked SISU (3-8) 73-72 on Wednesday evening. SISU forced 24 Herlev turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Rim Taha (167-2004) who scored 20 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 8 steals. Josefine Haabegaard (180-1999) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Bianca Braikia (179-2003) produced 18 points and 7 rebounds and forward Karoline Lundin (179-2004) added 16 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. SISU moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Amager. Herlev at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. SISU will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Herlev will play at home against Amager and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
