Timberwolves were trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 25-17 charge of Nord Dragonz, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Nick Allen (203-1997, college: UTSA) who scored 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import guard Kyran McClure (188-1996, college: St.Leo) chipped in 21 points. Nord Dragonz's coach Felix Jambor used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American center Chris Vogt (213-1999, college: Wisconsin) produced a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and forward Elias Wlasak (190-2000) added 18 points respectively for the hosts. Newly promoted Nord Dragonz maintains eleventh place with 4-13 record, which they share with defeated Timberwolves. Timberwolves lost sixth consecutive game. Nord Dragonz will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Timberwolves will play again against Nord Dragonz (#11) in Eisenstadt and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
