We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Istanbul where 8th ranked Bahcesehir (4-10) was defeated by ninth ranked Fenerbahce (4-10) 72-67 on Sunday. Hakan Gokcek (-2005) fired 15 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) for the winners. Forward Kadir Yanci (200-2005) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Halim Altin (-2004) produced 15 points and 9 rebounds and Derin Ustun (-2007) added 18 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Fenerbahce moved-up to eighth place, which they share with defeated Bahcesehir. Fenerbahce will meet higher ranked TED Ankara (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bahcesehir will play against the league's leader Gaziantep having rather not much hope for a victory.
