Not a big story in a game when 5th ranked TED Ankara (7-6) was rolled over at home by second ranked Tofas (10-3) 88-53 on Sunday. Tofas looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Guard Ozgur Cengiz (185-2005) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Guard Can Cevikel (195-2005) chipped in 9 points and 4 assists. Kerem Sariaslan (-2004) produced 15 points and 6 assists and Sefa Karadol (-2003) added 6 points and 13 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tofas have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 10-3 record having just three points less than leader Gaziantep. TED Ankara lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with six games lost. Tofas will meet at home Galatasaray (#4) in the next round. TED Ankara will play against Fenerbahce and hope to secure a win.
