There was no surprise when 13th ranked OGM Orman (5-11) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Balikesir (8-8) 92-83 on Friday. Balikesir made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. Balikesir looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Kahlil Dukes (183-1995, college: Niagara) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 4 assists and Serbian center Radoslav Pekovic (215-1994) who added 14 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Balikesir's coach Ozan Bulkaz used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side forward Utku Yucedag (198-1994) responded with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Cameroonian forward Benoit Mbala (200-1995) scored 21 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Balikesir maintains eighth position with 8-8 record. OGM Orman lost fifth consecutive game.
