Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Herlev (11-6) won against at home 8th ranked Copenhagen (5-13) 97-86 on Saturday. Herlev looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard August Haas (187-1997, college: St.Edward's) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 6 assists. Montenegrin point guard Danijel Marsenic (184-2001) contributed with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. American center Durell Vinson (201-1985, college: Wagner) answered with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and Spanish guard Andrew Ramirez (188-1997, college: Hartford) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Copenhagen. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Copenhagen's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Herlev maintains fifth place with 11-6 record. Copenhagen at the other side keeps the eighth position with 13 games lost. Herlev are looking forward to face Vaerlose (#9) at home in the next round. Copenhagen will play against BAC and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
