Regular Season Round 16: Mamak - TED Ankara 82-73

There was an upset when higher ranked TED Ankara (10-6) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Mamak (7-9) 82-73 on Saturday. Mamak forced 19 TED Ankara turnovers. Strangely TED Ankara outrebounded Mamak 38-24 including 29 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Myles Mack (178-1993, college: Rutgers) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and Gokhan Demirli (-1999) who added 16 points during the contest. Four Mamak players scored in double figures. At the losing side American center Brandon Walters (208-1995, college: MTSU) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Shane Gibson (188-1990, college: Sacred Heart) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Mamak maintains ninth position with 7-9 record. TED Ankara at the other side dropped to the sixth place with six games lost. They share the position with Yalovaspor.
