Regular Season Round 16: Buyukcekmece - Tofas 94-81

There was a small surprise when thirteenth ranked Buyukcekmece (6-10) won against at home 10th ranked Tofas (6-10) 94-81 on Sunday. Buyukcekmece looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The winners were led by American point guard Jordon Crawford (168-1990, college: BGSU) who scored that evening 36 points (!!!) and the other American import point guard Briante Weber (188-1992, college: VCU) supported him with 13 points and 8 assists. Five Buyukcekmece players scored in double figures. Even 27 points and 6 assists by Canadian point guard Tyler Ennis (188-1994, college: Syracuse) did not help to save the game for Tofas. American guard Rob Gray (186-1994, college: Houston) added 20 points and 5 assists for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Buyukcekmece moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Tofas. Tofas lost fourth consecutive game.
