There was no surprise when 10th ranked Manisa Izmir (2-12) was edged at home by third ranked Ozel Gelisim Koleji (10-4) 88-85 on Sunday. Ozel Gelisim Koleji outrebounded Manisa Izmir 51-39 including a 24-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Bartu Encu (-2005) scored 19 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Emir Gokyildirim (-2003) chipped in 14 points and 16 rebounds during the contest. Four Ozel Gelisim Koleji players scored in double figures. Kerem Soyucayli (-2006) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists and Hasip Guvengil (-2005) scored 21 points. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Ozel Gelisim Koleji have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Tofas.
