Regular Season Round 20: Elazig Karabulut - Emlak 2 75-67

Everything went according to plan when eighth ranked Elazig Karabulut (10-9) beat at home 15th ranked Emlak 2 (5-14) 75-67 on Thursday. The best player for the winners was American guard Ameryst Alston (175-1993, college: Ohio St.) who scored 36 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 8 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). Center Gulfer Tokatli (193-2002) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. Serbian center Milena Marjanovic (193-1991) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 17 rebounds and point guard Berfin Sertoglu (171-2004) added 14 points respectively for the guests. Emlak 2's coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Elazig Karabulut moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Edremit. Emlak 2 at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fifteenth position with 14 games lost. Elazig Karabulut will meet higher ranked Botas GA (#6) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Emlak 2 will play against Urla (#11) and hope to secure a win.
