Very significant was Falcon's (#1, 11-1) victory against their biggest opponent Herlev (8-5) 70-62. Falcon forced 24 Herlev turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Herlev's players. International guard Elisabeth Brynaa (176-1993) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and guard Kristin Jonsdottir (173-1997) chipped in 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side forward Bianca Braikia (179-2003) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and forward Karoline Lundin (179-2004) scored 19 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion maintains first place with 11-1 record. Herlev at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. Falcon are looking forward to face Aabyhoj (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
