Rather expected game in Bucuresti where 10th ranked Constanta (4-14) was defeated by eighth ranked Dinamo B. (6-12) 90-83 on Saturday. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 26-16. But Constanta won third quarter 31-23. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Dinamo B. forced 20 Constanta turnovers. Strangely Constanta outrebounded Dinamo B. 36-20 including a 14-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. American point guard Darnell Edge (188-1997, college: FDU) scored 29 points (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and the former international point guard Andrei Mandache (190-1987, agency: BIG) chipped in 10 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Lithuanian forward Rapolas Ivanauskas (208-1998, college: Cincinnati) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds and Lithuanian Vytenis Cizauskas (187-1992) scored 15 points and 6 assists. Four Dinamo B. and five Constanta players scored in double figures. Constanta's coach Alexandru Olteanu rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Dinamo B. maintains eighth position with 6-12 record, which they share with Timisoara. Loser Constanta keeps the tenth place with 14 games lost.
