Very predictable result when ninth ranked Mamak (8-9) rolled over on the road bottom-ranked Antalya (2-15) 117-81 on Saturday. Mamak forced 19 Antalya turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 24 long-distance shots on high 63.2 percentage. Mamak looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. American point guard Myles Mack (178-1993, college: Rutgers) nailed a double-double by scoring 43 points (!!!), 5 rebounds, 11 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and Mertcan Solkol (195-1996) accounted for 21 points and 4 steals. Atahan Saylam (-1997) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds and Yavuz Osmanli (-2003) added 22 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Antalya in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mamak moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Balikesir. Antalya lost ninth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost. Mamak will meet at home higher ranked Yalovaspor (#7) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Antalya will play against OGM Orman (#13) and hope to secure a win.
