Very expected game when 9th ranked Kapfenberg Bulls (7-12) lost on the road to third ranked Raiffeisen Flyers Wels (13-6) 73-60 on Sunday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Donovan Smith (207-1993, college: Quinnipiac) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds. American-Nigerian guard Austen Awosika (190-1998, college: CS Fullerton, agency: Slash Sports) accounted for 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. American center Brad Greene (210-1998, college: UC Irvine) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import forward Lesley Varner Jr (201-1998, college: UTRGV) added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Kapfenberg Bulls in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Raiffeisen Flyers Wels have a solid series of four victories in a row.
